Breakdown of the Proud

Breakdown of the Proud

A Poem by RainbowFlames
"

even a broken clock is still right two times a day.

"

I never thought the tables would turn.
I guess this is just another lesson learned.
Every where I turn I just get burned.
I’m just another horse in the stable,
Another moral learned through an old fable.
This life is a lie, so we’ve all heard.
Our freedom is nothing, like a featherless bird.

This seems to go off on tangents that I don't follow to clearly. I appreciate your metaphors though, nicely done.
