A Poem by RainbowFlames
"

i love you so much that i'm addicted.

"

I keep looking at you as if obsessed
What has become of me but a mess
I yearn for your undying love
And to intertwine our souls, my conquest
Please don’t deny my adoration
I am hopeless for you, I confess
Without you beside me
My lonely hand bleeds
Please realize what you’re doing to me
Pay your heeds
Don’t neglect my hankering soul
Hear my pleads
Please, notice me even if it’s just once more
By sunrise we’ll both be gone
You’ve hit me at my core
I’m addicted.

God so can I. I'd like to think that it goes away at some point. Still waiting :)
Great write!

Yes, sadly, I can.

I think the rhyme scheme was a little distracting, as it kept changing every time I tried to get a handle on it, but I especially love the comparison of obsessive love to addiction--so true.
