Amortality

Amortality

A Poem by RainbowFlames

when mothers hate their daughters,
and husbands beats their wives.
'the children grow up aimlessly,
and are confused on how to live their lives.

when girls cry without notice,
and empower a feeble disease,
burdened by burdens, plagued by plagues,
feeling ghostly and displeased.

hopelessly misunderstanding and misunderstood,
i wish to please you,
but i don't know if i could.
you are the closest to me
but we fight the most.
it rips my insides apart,
you and your remose.

why do you hate me?
what did i do?
i don't understand,
i wish i knew.

it hurts.
it kills.
it knots up.
it builds...

lock me away,
destroy the key.
strip me bare,
let all see.

i'm hollow,
or so i'm told.
it's my fault,
i know.

i walk among ghosts.
i'm wicked.
i'm cold.

i'm either a live wire,
or a dead nerve.
a seeping shadow,
or a broken curve.

i'm just alone,
looking for a home.
without satisfaction,
that's why we're a fatal attraction.
