Just Smile

Just Smile

A Poem by RainbowEmerald

They see me smile
But they don't see the tears
Welling up in my eyes
Bottled up for years
If you look into my eyes
Maybe you'll see
That the smile I let show
Isn't really me

They watch me laugh
While inside I cry
Thinking to myself
Maybe I can fly
And as I reach the rooftop
They finally see
That the girl they never saw
Just wanted to be free

The eyes are the mirrors of the soul. Anyone looking deep into them would see your soul crying.

You are welcome
People just believe in what they see, they don't understand the problems of one and that's a problem with them. I am really scared by the tags of your poem. Hope you are okay...
