Shadow land

Shadow land

A Poem by Rainbow333

Shadow land

The Cross stands alone
moss- mantled from point down.
A crow lands, black wings flapping
caw- cawing to a high sickle moon.
Salt water silver'd by scarlet clouds
In the distance, a greenish glow
emits from small broken windows.
Glass jagged ,crooked eves to sky
Sea churning in haunting sighs...
A howl echoes over distant waves...
Mist floating in shimmery veils
Ghosts searching for lost warmth
Fingers curling, clutching grains of sand
sobbing, ebb and flowing, dissipating....
Damned souls drawn to heaven's gate.
