On the Sidewalk Bleeding

On the Sidewalk Bleeding

A Poem by Emily Michael
"

this is a poem i wrote about the story On the Sidewalk bleeding by: Evan Hunter

"
Pain, through every inch of my body,
Blood, escaping from my veins,
Rain, cleansing the bleeding alley pavement.

No one is here to save me,
No one is here to care.

I am left here to die;
Because of a purple jacket,
I am left here, to die.

Where no one can see me crying;
There's no one to see me dying.

This life I have chosen is how it all ends.
No saviors, no friends.

This jacket is what killed me,
Though it is not who i truly am.
I struggle to show the true Andy,
As i lay on the sidewalk;
Bleeding

THE PAIN IN THE LINES OF THIS ONE...AS A READER READ THE LINES OF THIS VERSE...JUST KEEPS YOU ON THE EDGE AS THE WORDS UNFOLD TO THE END OF THE WRITE...
