Invisible

Invisible

A Poem by Emily Michael

I walk in the halls by you,

You don't know I'm there.

I think about you all the time,

You barely notice I'm alive.

I watch you dance, I hear you sing,

But still my words don't mean a thing.

I'm from one world, You're from another

I wish our hearts would come together.

I love you more than anything in the world,

But I truly am invisible to you.

I feel how you long to be with the person that you are describing here. How they barely notice you, and how you want them to know you more then anything in the world. Reminds me of Joey from Dawson's Creek when she is trying to get Dawson to know how she feels about him. Great job with this poem.

I love the longing in this poem, and it's very descriptive when it comes to how you're feeling. Great work, keep writing!
