You don't understandA Poem by Emily MichaelYou don’t understand how much I love you. You don’t understand how much I care. I know you think you’re doing right but all you’re doing is hurting us. You’re hurting him, and you’re hurting you. I care about you more than myself. When you are hurt, I am too. I know you think you’re doing what’s best. I know you think it’s right. But he won’t stop without knowing it’s done. he won’t stop without knowing you’re through. You don’t understand how much I love you. You don’t understand how much I care. You make me happy. You make me smile. I want you to know that no matter what you do, how you feel, I’ll be here. I love you. I care. And I know you do, too. But all you’re doing now is hurting him more by concealing. All you’re doing now is hurting him by disguising. All you’re doing now is trying to be the good guy when the only way to be true is to speak the truth.© 2015 Emily MichaelFeatured Review
