Summer Snow

Fall upon me,
Summer snow.
With your cold embrace,
Make me glow.

The cold reaches me inside,
I want to push it away.
But then deep down inside,
I want it to stay.

The snowflakes embrace me,
Gleaming from the sunlight.
The warm sun hits me,
Like the cold snowflakes embrace me.

Hot and cold,
A beatiful mix.
So deadly, so lethal,
Then so wonderful, so romantic.

Fall upon me,
Summer snow.
With your cold embrace,
Make me glow.

I feel this could be about a forbidden love, that is what first jumps out to me. However there are references to death, it could be a personal or social death or it could be more general, it could be the death of the summer and winter, a global warming issue. I would like to think its two opposites attract, a coming together.
I really like this poem, the first stanza really got me hooked, the rhythm and rhyme creates a very solid foundation for the imagery to be expressed.
