~Who You Are~

 

 

 

               Take the time to realize who you are

       

             Take the chance it might take you far

 

                 Many secrets can be unleashed

 

                There is nothing you cant reach!

 

             Are you someone you're proud to be

  

             People change, but not their history

 

      But what other people think isn't who you are

 

     If you blocked them out you could reach the stars

 

         Keep on going even when you have doubts

 

         Even when your mind is full of droughts

 

          People will tear you completely apart

 

           Just please never forget who you are

I like this poem in conjunction with your other ones :). I love when a person's poetry reflects the motions in their lives, some of them are inspiring while others are sobering yet all of them feel like their coming from the same heart. This is very true and very inspiring poem. ^_^

Very good, This work is amazing. In my opinion is flawless, it flows smoothly and it makes sense.

I like the following lines

This is very interesting

"Even when your mind is full of droughts

Just please never forget who you are"

the character in the poem is trying to say that when support is most needed there are people that would take advantage and jump at the opportunity to disable the character from getting up from the floor, sort of like when people kick and try to take advantage of others when they are on the ground.

The message of the poem is to not let others change your mind by keeping you on the ground, to remember who you are and always get up.
