Chapter 1: A New Start

First chapter of my first public story. Feel free to leave comments and reviews on what you think of it so far.

"This time I will beat you bro," I said to my buddy Xavier.  At this point in time,  we were facing off against each other in a PvP match of SD Gundam Capsule Fighters, which Xavier had shown me not too long ago.  "Fat chance, Eric (for my name in this story is Eric)," Xavier replied.  "My S ranks will easily destroy your C ranks."  I tried to launch a special attack against his team, but I missed.  Matt retaliated by using his special.  This time, it made contact, and he beat me in one fatal swoop.  "That was our closest battle yet," stated Matt.  "Agreed," I replied with a smile while trying to hide my expressions of defeat.  Just then, my parents came to Xavier's door and it was time for me to go home.  I turned to Matt and said," Anytime you want a rematch, just let me know.  I'll be waiting" (btw, that last quote is from near the end of Sonic Heroes).  "Just as I will be, my good friend and rival," replied Xavier.  I got in the car and headed home.  When I arrived, my dog Saber was there to welcome me back.  I simply went up to my room and checked to make sure I have everything done for school tomorrow.  "School...", I thought.  The school I go to is not exactly a paradise (keep in mind my actual school in real life is the opposite of that).  People left and right just seem to enjoy messing with me and my friends.  However, my friends and I stick up for each other and one usually ends up defending another in their time of need.   So while I don't necessarily look forward to school,  I do love to see my friends there.  I got in bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

First chapter. What do you all think? Not much happened in this chapter, but more wil occur soon. Feel free to leave both positive and negative feedback so I can make this story better.

The chapter features two people, right? There's Eric-you, Xavier-your friend, and Matt. What?!?! Did I miss something?

Sorry. Matt is supposed to be Xavier, that is a mistake on my part. Also, not much happens in this chapter, but more action/events will occur in the next few. I hope that helps.

It's cool, I'd just cement it that this guy is this guy and so on. That way you don't keep changing names.

I think I out somewhere a list of who was who in the story description, but maybe it didnt submit. I will put the list of names in chapter 2.
