saharaA Poem by PianoandPagewritten in 10 minutes with no editing. writing and posting this just to break the ice on a long bout of writer's block. The silence takes my skin eloquent vibrations under saharan sand. There are so many things I want to say but pores are creosote blooms aromatic pricklers that cast an aura with no shadows simultaneously inviting with a push to the backside of my meaning stay there rest your hair on my neck and sink the cactus wrens will nest in my shoulderblades seeking nectar placed deep within by your eyes wisdom hued and forgiving willing to love the spartan landscape of my question. © 2010 PianoandPageReviews
