Slumbers Serenade

Slumbers Serenade

A Poem by Petals & Pearls

Amidst a sequined sky unveiled
Upon a moon kissed lullaby
There does my love for you prevail
Betwixt the stardust sailing high

For night does bring a world untold
Of thoughts and wishes left unsaid
And there my heart, its wants unfold
As I am sleeping in my bed

Dreams of you and I together
Dancing, laughing, full of glee
If I could hold this dream forever
Oh, how happy I would be

I dream of memories not yet made
Far beyond tomorrow land
I hope these memories never fade
And someday we’ll walk hand in hand

These dreams are sung every night
Like music upon a windy steep
I hope this song to you takes flight
And serenades you as you sleep
