Star Spangled-Blunder

Star Spangled-Blunder

A Poem by Petals & Pearls

O say can you see, all the women affright
Why so mournful we wailed at the court's intervening,
Who's broad rule opened scars
we should not have to fight
O'er the rights to our wombs when
so many died pleeding?
And the courts didn't care, those fools
spouted hot air,
Gave proof that the rights to our wombs are not theirs,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O're this land where we'll spit and dance on
your grave?

I like this poem. Written from the heart with a message we should all take note from. Freedom isn't free, and can easily be taken away. Especially by those who are far outnumbered in their repressive ideology. Excellent write Caitlin.
