Again!

Again!

A Poem by Raghib

And in the city of love,
Did his blotted soul wander tonight .
His mind calling out for it,
But little did it have knowledge .
He craved for some remorse,
From walking alone and dead .
The caring seeds of affection,
Resurrecting his lost sides again.
But there was a trammel,
Those memories passed once again .
Not those that were painful,
Cuts too deep to be false .
But those that were too good,
To be true once upon a time .

A sad story written in the poem. Memories can be sweet and memories can be sad. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to the powerful ending. Thank you Raghib for sharing the excellent poetry.

"And in the city of love,
Did his blotted soul wander tonight." Favorite line. Well done.

A sobering piece in which the protagonist recognises his demise and despite wishing for salvation feels too far gone already.

In the steps of the dead judgement must weigh heavy on ones soul as memories testify. I like this concept and it is going to haunt my thinking for days to come, thank you for that I love things that touch my mind :~) Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
