A kiss.A Poem by Rage&GraceThe anticipation before kissing that specific someone. She smiles softly, meets his gaze Her heart races, her temperature raised Her cheeks redden, skin grows moist She wants to speak, but can't find her voice. She turns her eyes, not wanting to show fear Please God, she prays, dont let him move near... A hand reaches out, caresses her face turning it slighly, she can hear his heart race Overwhelmed by emotion, guilt and desire She knows she should resist, but he has sparked a fire She prays he moves closer, just one more step let her guilt be extinguished, her desire be met! Alive with passion, he searches her eyes Awaiting her answer, awaiting his prize. Slowly a gasp escapes her soft lips, she grows breathless with passion, pleading for the kiss. He inches closer, his hand resting on her cheek His arms begin trembling, his knees become weak Everything he wants, is within his grasp, She closes her eyes, their lips meet, at last. © 2010 Rage&GraceReviews
