Simple Psychology

A Poem by Rage&Grace
"

Arguing with myself.

"

Write what you know.

But I know nothing?

Write who you are.

But who am i?

Write how you feel.

But I feel empty?

Write how you talk.

There's only silence, I am too shy.

Sit alone and weep.

I don’t want to!

Lock yourself away.

I need to explore!

Give into the fear.

I still have hope!

Live in misery.

No. I want more.

I’ll take the first step,

Here I go.

I’ll open my eyes,

And open my mind.

I’ll stand up to the fear

And embrace the world!

One little syllable at a time.

I like the first two stanzas the most, for I can relate to it. The last stanza, I like how you make a commitment for the previous actions/thoughts are not satisfied in one's mind. Good job portraying mankind in a poem.
