The Blonde

The Blonde

A Story by Raeven

She's a blonde, young, vibrant and supposedly carefree.
She hides a past that would break most people.
She's perfect in every single way,
But she has no confidence
She believes she's average, and has people tell her so
She's a goddess, and I wish she could see it.
She's everything I ever wanted, and she's everything I used to dream of having.
I let her go, believing she, that we would be okay.
She's not.
Neither am I.
Anxiety attacks, insomniac nights, and loneliness I remember vividly.
She's on the ground, gasping for air, forgetting everything she's survived.
I wish I could help her remember who she is. Who she wants to be.
But until she catches her breath, until I can somehow get her back...
We're both on the ground, gasping for air, wishing everything was okay and we knew what we were doing.
I love her.
I'd do anything for her.
She's the stuff of fairy tales...a perfect princess.
But I'm far from a perfect prince.
