Excremental Pride

A Chapter by Raef C. Boylan

What we produce,

perched upon white porcelain,

are unaided achievements.

They should be weighed, examined.

Named.

Does the title work as a clue, or give too much away? Thanks.

No, it's not a haiku...i think they can only have 19 syllables or something like that - there's a strict structure for them.
Thanks for your review.

I'm glad this piece was short. It could have been agonizingly graphic, but instead you said in just 5 lines all that needed to be said. It's been a long time since I studied true poetic structure, but am I wrong that this is a Haiku for poo? The title is what drew me to read... it adds to the humor and imagery for sure. Nicely done... tasteful and humorous!
