the real conspiracy?

the real conspiracy?

A Chapter by Raef C. Boylan

Elvis, Tupac & Di

joined hands

as they

touched-down

on the moon

madness rotated

some distance

beyond

& the media glare

from telescopic

spyware

singed a hole

in the sun’s

stellar core

it was distracting -

interrogative flashes

paparazzi surging

upon doorsteps

like wasps

colonising

a secluded picnic

much more absorbing

than those

old men in suits -

you can’t airbrush

political drivel

so stick fingers in ears

& gawp

at the shiny-shiny

C.,
It's been too long since I've feasted on your art. This piece is well-written, powerful, poignant. I like the style that it's written in, and your faboulas choice of words (interrogative, paparazzi).

My favorite image is:
like wasps
colonizing
a secluded picnic

a great image that you can see and feel. It stokes emotions, and creates a sense of panic.

Great Job!!!

you can't airbrush

political drivel

this must be brand new because no one has reviewed it yet. I love the sparse lines and the stinging intensity. Well done.
