Despairing

Despairing

A Chapter by Raef C. Boylan

Last night I prayed to someone else’s god

If anyone’s up there, please let me die

But then this morning, I woke up alive.

intervention?
...maybe someone else prayed to their God
........................................on your behalf?

and just so's were NOT blogging here! - (re: dandelions)
`I woke up alive` - would work better as I woke alive (?)
Is this then a triumph of atheism over agnosticism?

I'm with Hedra here - big hugs you!!!!!

in reply to Karsplace:

it was a silent plea, directed at the ceiling, which seemed akin to praying
but i'm an atheist,
hence "someone else's god"

i may well be in need of help
i'm going to the doctor on tuesday
thanks for your scathing[?] concern haha

Are you crazy, seeking attention or in need of real help? Why would you ask any GOD for such a thing and expect it to be granted? You poor soul.

I think there god don't like you. Well that's good for some of us here on earth though. I sure that doesn't help a lot but still.
