Weird

Weird

A Chapter by Raef C. Boylan
"

Originally inspired by Elijah Wood's fate in the film 'The Ice Storm'...but I can't remember what happens. Anyone?

"

Being weird

tends to mean

destined to be found dead,

alone,

near some interesting,

beautiful, fatal thing.

awhh gawd thats awesome. I feel like that when im on mushrooms in the desert.
morning headline
"girl found impaled on cactus, body was found in a position rather resembling a bear hug."

(ps just read some reviews, dude...how do some ppl not get it?
Doesn't everyone have those "ooo pretty.." moments where you black out and just walk like zombie toward the shiny thing? errr?)

I like it too. Tis short but long on wisdom. A long life may be dull, a short life full of risk, excitement and, ahem, danger...maybe a drug of choice, or the north face of some killer mountain, or a fast bend on a fast bike... And weird i read as radical, 'outside the mean average' which tends to be very mean and very average. The creature not plodding along with the herd.

I kind of like it too. Simple, straightforward, profound and just a little bit twisted. We should all be so lucky! I don't know why either, I don't think I remember that movie, too. Thanks for the read!

It actually really, really does make actual sense. To me it's quite true, but what do I know.

This is awesome. Images of Poe and so many other tragic geniuses. . . Just such a huge thought in that little bitty package, not quirky exactly. I know all about quirky. But poking fun at our 'deepness' in a roundabout way. I like it.
