Wrecking A Car.

Wrecking A Car.

A Poem by Rae

if you could just pour a little ounce into my soul, shake me up and drink me down. the taste in your mouth, the way it messes with your feelings. the way you would just love to spit me out, bite down on me and never let me seep down your throat.

shovel your own downpour, because when i don’t care anymore… i don’t want to hear how long it’s been, since I've said hello to your shadow. you’re such a busy lady, the way you run your sliver tongue, and it sounds like a car wreck to my ears. the earth nearly shatters at the way you move, you are not grace. you are not pure.

you are not pure.
