The Lover of My SoulA Poem by Mercury Rising
The greatest things in life I find
Have very little worth Compared to the Lover of my Soul Who once came down to earth To give His life for every sin That was born in every man The needs of the many outweighed the One... This was God's ultimate plan. With love so divine and so true How could I ever compare The love of any mortal man To the Saviour's compassion and care? Living in the warmth of His radiant light I embrace joys anew For Jesus Christ is the lover of my soul --- No other could ever do!
