Moonlit Heart

Moonlit Heart

A Poem by Radicaldreamer
"

Standing in the moonlight, Sheltering myself from the dark, So I may be A shadowy sin, Listing to the silent echo...

"

Standing in the moonlight

Sheltering myself from the dark

My vision returns slowly,

Stretching as far as my hope can take it

The ache of the blissful light burns slowly

A reminisced moment of a painful moment

Frozen in the darkness

With my heart entrapped until the end;

Shadowy saints reflect this second

For just a moment, so I may lose myself;

I can see it clearly now,

A beautiful astonishing sky

Lit unkindly by A whispering song

As if to tease my heart into a contempt;

Floating silently in this dimly lit night

I can feel my heart echoing

A spirited cry,

Letting in the moonlit whispers,

Cover me in this midnight bliss

So I may be A shadowy sin

Listing to the silent echo,

Of the moonlights footsteps.
