Moonlit HeartA Poem by RadicaldreamerStanding in the moonlight, Sheltering myself from the dark, So I may be A shadowy sin, Listing to the silent echo...
Standing in the moonlight Sheltering myself from the dark My vision returns slowly, Stretching as far as my hope can take it The ache of the blissful light burns slowly A reminisced moment of a painful moment Frozen in the darkness With my heart entrapped until the end; Shadowy saints reflect this second For just a moment, so I may lose myself; I can see it clearly now, A beautiful astonishing sky Lit unkindly by A whispering song As if to tease my heart into a contempt; Floating silently in this dimly lit night I can feel my heart echoing A spirited cry, Letting in the moonlit whispers, Cover me in this midnight bliss So I may be A shadowy sin Listing to the silent echo, Of the moonlights footsteps. © 2008 Radicaldreamer |
