Why do people change this way?

For someone who just came

But the one who cared for the whole day,

Gets nothing but a sad face.

I miss the way we have fought,

Always it used to be my fault

But now existed no fights,

Only lonely day and lonely nights.

Earlier we had topic less talks,

But now I just see you talk

Earlier you said you have only me to care,

But now you have thousands out there.

Lovely day and your supportive care,

Made my life complete and fair

Now left is a spoiled relation and your blame,

As you say i always misunderstand.

These days won't ever come back,

Those fights and those funny pranks.

Why did you change this way?

For someone who just came.

I hope to see you near my deathbed,

Crying and weeping with the things I left,

Won't be there to wipe your tears then,

So cry now, so that i could cleanse them.

I don't tell you to change this change,

But i request you to remain the same

This is a poem regarding the broken expectations. We all expect certain things from the ones who are really close to us but when these expectations break, we are completely devastated. This is what this poem is all about. I hope you like it!
