Wings

This might seem a little simple and "child- like" but thats what I'm expressing right now....

Wrap themselves around me when I'm afraid,

Reach to dry my tears when I cry

Steady my beating heart, when it pumps out loud

And holds me when I'm alone

 

they create the strength i have around me

and inside is a coocoon too

to shut myself from what I need not bear

And forces me to smile.

 

I know I'm never alone,

For she;s always there

An angel, if you will ,

Who is the only one who will always care
