No Words Necessary

No Words Necessary

A poem about being with someone random and the feelings associated with such interactions.

NO WORDS NECESSARY

It began so fast…too fast in fact

Thirty three minutes that’s all it took

And three text to be exact

“WYD?”

“BORED YOU?”

“COME OVER..”

…as if we already knew

You run your fingers across my chest

Warmth breaking through ice

The body you touch

The moans you create

They’ll never be enough

As good as it feels

The emptiness grows

Till there’s nothing left inside

A hollowed shell of flesh and bone

And pleasure zones that you well know

My willing sacrifice

I stare at you expression blank

You smile down now pleased

I sit up fast

Sickness burning in my stomach

Acids rising free

I dress to leave

You look at me

I hope you say don’t go

But no words leave those swollen lips

I grab my keys

Shaking hands reach for the door

Don’t I dare open my mouth

Only bile now on my tongue

Any words to be said would cause more pain

And I guess you know as well

The drive home all alone is long

Thank you! I truly appreciate the feedback.
Sometimes it's the words we don't say that mean so much.despite it's passionate over tones there's a underlying sadness to this story. The ending is heartbreaking. Intriguing to read all the way through

Thank you! I was afraid I would be a little rusty. I truly appreciate your commentary.
