Missing youA Poem by Rachel JaneYou have the power of playing with thoughts You manage to raise them inside my soul, One by one And so, I start to miss you. And from that moment on, I swear, There is nothing I’d rather do Than please my mind with you. The chess that you play with armies of ideas Fighting my questions, The hide and seek between thousands of bits and bytes, The fresh fragrance of passion which can be felt From miles away, Are raising new senses in me, array. I know that you keep on looking From beyond the glass showcase And studying each twist that I make I know you enjoy seeing me burn Under thousands of spells that I take From you… …from your eyes that are shinning When you tease all my senses From your fingers that spell the words I need to read And your mouth that can offer the breath I need to breathe I miss your smile between the letters I miss your soul hidden between the shots That you take with such thorough precision I miss your being which I never met But in my dreams, Although I always need to see you. I miss your words that I’ve never left Since the first day I began to read you.
