Sempiternal Beauty

Sempiternal Beauty

A Poem by Satan's Daughter

To stare into a star-dusted sky for eternity, marveled and humbled by the vastness of its potential,
Is to look into your eyes for but a passing moment
To see the most beautiful flower bloom, coaxed open by gently persistent tendrils of sunlight,
Is to make you smile for an instant
To stand on a sea-soaked cliff, feeling the winds strong fingers tearing at my clothes and sampling the strength of the waves in the droplets on my cheeks,
Is to be swept up in your presence for naught but a breath
I can tour the universe in your eyes
Taste the world on your lips
And when my need to wander has ceased
I can come back to find home in your arms.

Satan's Daughter
I would love some input on the ending. I wrote the beginning and loved it, but didn't quite know how to wrap it up. Did I get it?
