Fighting Individuality

Fighting Individuality

A Poem by Satan's Daughter

You must embrace the darkness,
Don't step into the light.
Don't submit to sanity.
Never give up the fight.
Don't do what you're told to,
Stay fucked up and wild.
If you submit to conformity,
You'll grow subservient and mild.
Don't give up your freedom,
They'll take it in a hurry.
The answer, my sweet child,
Is unadulterated

ANARCHY.

Strong words for a girl. Obviously you are one of the marvelous handful that still got some fight left in them. The fight is a long one. Just don't give up or you'll get devoured by lions.

Wisest words ever, I love this. I wish that everyone could take this to heart; individuality and innovative minds are so important and they should be told that every day. Thank you for these wonderful words :)

Hurry and anarchy do not rhyme. I assume they weren't supposed to, poetically speaking, in order to jar the reader with its abrupt change. For what is anarchy but non-conformity.
