Somewhere EdenA Poem by RachelleBA VillanelleWithout flesh in Eden truth awaits. Each stroke and turn forever insists; the swim from abyss illuminates. Casting off touch, I disintegrate and rise slowly again to exist. Without flesh in Eden truth awaits. Spittle of lies extracted our fate you drove it out like an exorcist. The swim from abyss illuminates. Words bled through ink only complicate rejected love I tried to resist. The swim from abyss illuminates. A pelting rain sings subtle debate, tumbling through air and darkened mist. The swim from abyss illuminates. Those dreams of you still choose to persist; Destiny’s fork or some other twist. Without flesh in Eden truth awaits. The swim from abyss illuminates.
