Earth bound souls

A poem about the earth and her caring ways

The souls of the deceased still live on,

Through the earth, as she protects them,

Cased in her protective rock,

They live on through her,

Their love gives her the strength to fight on,

She fights for them,

She prays for them,

She gives their descendants hope,

She is a mother,

And a mother who cares,

Who watches the life she has created fondly,

We should respect her and treat her like a queen,

We should not destroy her,

We should not test her limits,

As one day, she might not be there to pick up the pieces
