She Loved

She Loved

A Poem by Rachel Joyful

She loved,

but then the love fell out of her.

Now she’s lying, crying on the floor.

She loved,

but then she fell out of love.

What to do?

What to do?

For the girl that feels nothing anymore.

Oh girl,

Oh child, I wish I could comfort you,

I wish I could be by your side every moment.

I wish that I could be the answer to your tears.

To be able to take away your pain.

She loved,

but the love ran away from her,

now she crying, she’s lying on the frozen floor.

Crying out for someone to hear her.

All she ever wanted was for someone to be by her side.

Someone to say they’d be there are long as time stood.

But no,

no, they never came.

No one knew her name.

They all just covered her with shame and refused to know her name.

They ignored her pain and blanted her in vain.

She screamed.

But no one heard her.

She loved,

but the love fell out of her,

it left her on her own.

She called out for it to come back to her,

to lift her spirits.

But love ran and never turned back.

Never turned back.

She loved,

but no one loved her back.

She loved, but many can never say
that. Most just seek to be loved.
Most want love, find it then reject
it. The girl (you) who offered love ,
you are the genuine article .
Cute poem----- thank you,
