How fine is the line

A poem about the feelings of a confused lover seeking guidance, please read and review

How fine is the line between love and hate?
Not that I want a massive debate
But I really would like to know
Whether you're just in it for show
If you really love me and if you're in it for the long haul

It's meant to be written in the stars
But all I can see right now are passing cars
Is this how it's meant to be
Or was it a coincidence that you found me?

So how fine is the line between love and hate?
I think it really does need a debate
Do I hate or love?
Should I seek guidance from above?
God will set out the path
And I will follow the way
