Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

A Poem by Rachael Lea

Looking for answers that seem to be lost

Unfound answers; faith is the sad cost

Times are trying in this day and age

When life gets hard; at God you aim your rage

He wasn’t there for you, you often say

It is in this belief you decide there’s no sense to pray

You give up too easy, listen to this news

Open your eyes and see all of God’s cues

Walk in obedience; follow God’s path

He will reward you, there will be no wrath

Faith come’s by hearing not what is heard

Giving up so easily just seems to be absurd

Paitence is virtue don’t give up so fast

Follow the lord, blessings upon you will be cast

Are you good enough for the fate in store for you

Do you question your faith or what you need to do

Chapter 11 of Hebrew a beautiful story indeed

A story on faith and what happens, you should read

A dog of a woman who had nothing but faith in him

Needed his help and knew his help wouldn’t be on a whim

She begged and pleaded and was cast away

But she continued to follow, worship, and pray

Yes, I know you’ve heard please listen to this “fable”

For even dogs are allowed scraps that fall from the table

Patience and faith is how dogs receive their reward

Take a leap of faith, please hop aboard.

Remember to trust in the lord he will help you

You would be surprised as to what he can do

Although not religious myself, I like the way you have dealt with the subject here. You are absolutely right when it comes to looking to blame all but ourselves when things don't go the way we hoped. We bury our head in the sand of conspiracy, thinking we are the only one who has been dealt such a hand, rather than getting up and doing what we need to do to change our lives.
As I said, I am not religious, yet I see no irony in telling you that I hope and pray for those I know are and are dear to me.
A beautiful, heartfelt touching write Rachael.

How beautiful and heart-warming this is....We all put blames of our failures on God no matter which religion we belong to, when hard times kick in we simply worry and talk furiously with God....In old days people believed in God wholeheartedly no matter what happens to them and God never failed them but now days people believe in God in a time bound way without any patience cause they want instant results and when they don't get their desirable results they loose their faith in God....This is why the world is facing so many problems like increasement of suicide, health problems, worry etc......But if we put our faith in action and believe that God will always be their for us to take us through the storms then things we surely fall in place....Wonderful reminder of His presence my dear sister.....Thank you very much for this unbelievable work.....God bless you always....Full ratings....Hats off to you!!!!!
