The Wholeness Found Within

The Wholeness Found Within

A Poem by Rachael Lea

Who are you my dear but yet another tired soul

Longing to find that someone longing to feel whole

There is news for you though that you should hold dear

Unbroken are you, there are no parts you need to sear

No emptiness inside of you that needs to be filled

No broken pieces to be fixed that later you’ll be billed

You are perfect dear one just the way that you are

Your soul, sweet one shines brighter than any star

There is no special one to complete you, it’s true

The only one capable of that task my love, is you

So hold on please to this knowledge that is shared

Live the rest of you days with your soul fully bared

You are beautiful and perfect in every single way

I pray you find happiness in you, each and every day

Beautiful. Flows perfectly from one great line right to the last. Inspiring words for all who stop by. I like the way that it is unclear if you are talking to someone or to yourself. Can be taken either way, but I do prefer the thought of you reading/ saying this to yourself as a motivator. Whatever way it was intended, it works. Superbly done.

Wonderful writing Rhacel. Your poem is very melodic. The tone is almost as if you're begging the person to understand how much you care for them and all you desire is there happiness, but for uknown reason they're unable to see it. Thank you for sharing.
