WhiteoutA Poem by Rac7helSort of a sequel to "Morning Meditation", but not necessarily
The light aligns itself so slightly
Blinding waves in lines toward my eyes. The longer I'm allowed to look, The lighter weighs my heart where it resides. I love the light. I long for greater. Closer, brighter... Maybe later. Fallen lightly out of favor. Wait for now and close my fiery eyes. Lie in shade and gaze toward the skies. © 2010 Rac7hel |
