Arrows

Arrows

A Poem by Rac7hel
"

Read it once. Then read it again differently.

"

Who in their left mind
Would have right it at the station?
I told him to left it up
Or it would be right behind forever.
But we were right without it
And when all our time was down
We drank til there was nothing right
He right and said he'd come left back
To go up on me
But he never showed down
Who in their left mind
Would have right me left where I was?
I knew that I was always left
And I knew that he was wrong.
Well I guess he's down in heaven
And I crawled up to hell
We never tracked each other up
And I doubt we ever will

A play on direction and relationships, to me, being 'left' has such powerful conotations. I'd love you to try your hand at a poem on gender or gender differences...

I most certainly did GET IT! This is a very interesting piece, and I have never read anything like it. To be a fly fluttering about in the mind of another, when they're mulling over their next muse!

~fresh & original~
