CoexistenceA Poem by RabbiRebikWhy can't we coexist in our world?What if the world was one big family Can you imagine such a thing? Why do we not coexist together When we share the same place? The goyim seek to convert the populace While other seek only to practice in peace. The straight family seeks to be the champion And the gay family seeks to be accepted. What if we all lived under one roof? Would there be bloodshed and pain Or would we discover happiness and peace? Nations fight for land and money And care little for the lives that are lost. Why must we fight each other When we all live together? Look at your neighbor and see That he is like you or like me. Why can't we make peace And watch all the fighting in the world end? Is there a higher power that seeks to destroy Rather than to add and build to our life? I believe we all live under the sky And that makes us brother and sisters for life. Coexist with your enemies And show the world that you care. If we continue down the path of hate Will we only discover that we are to blame. Give up and take haste So as to not destroy and waste.
