Coexistence

Coexistence

A Poem by RabbiRebik
"

Why can't we coexist in our world?

"
What if the world was one big family
Can you imagine such a thing?
Why do we not coexist together
When we share the same place?
The goyim seek to convert the populace
While other seek only to practice in peace.
The straight family seeks to be the champion
And the gay family seeks to be accepted.
What if we all lived under one roof?
Would there be bloodshed and pain
Or would we discover happiness and peace?
Nations fight for land and money
And care little for the lives that are lost.
Why must we fight each other
When we all live together?
Look at your neighbor and see
That he is like you or like me.
Why can't we make peace
And watch all the fighting in the world end?
Is there a higher power that seeks to destroy
Rather than to add and build to our life?
I believe we all live under the sky
And that makes us brother and sisters for life.
Coexist with your enemies
And show the world that you care.
If we continue down the path of hate
Will we only discover that we are to blame.
Give up and take haste
So as to not destroy and waste.
Seek...
