Smell the alcohol on her breath. Wonder what she's been doing. Place a bet that she's leaving. Breathe out. Dream about the future. Think of all the love ahead. Forget that this isn't just a silly dream. Stop breathing. Lay down all the knives and pens. Calm your beating heart. And tear the entire world apart.
