When Reality Sets InA Poem by Rachel ElizabethI fear that hell is an option for many of us.I'm starstruck by my scars Each one more unique than the other I bear them every where But it's hard for you to care when you don't see them
They're my definition The thing that kept me going I loved when they appeared Every new one more painful than the next
And the lust of a newer one made the addiction hard to stop The addiction derived by the problems we face every day I was in love with multilation I am in love with mutilation
These cuts and scars and scratches and marks The reality each and every one of us must face Though not in the same kind of way as my Self-inflicted pain
