She's A DreamerA Poem by Rachel ElizabethWords put together make up words put together.Everybody around her wonders what she's thinking But they'll never understand her at all She dreams when the sun's shining As well as when the moon is bright And all the things that run through her mind Are all the things that make her shine
She likes to dye her hair You know, experiment? They think it makes her look weird But she likes the way she feels when she's different When she thinks about the future She's always ever-changing No matter what happens She'll never stop dreaming
She bursts out in random laughter at the worst moments And people like to believe she's a freak But that doesn't bring her down Because it fuels her strength to be exceptional Her music blares too loud With screaming, screeching sounds And when her family asks her why she does these things She never gives them a straight answer Because she's in dreamland
She's always going to be different And she's always going to be strange But only thing that'll always remain The one thing that'll never change She's a dreamer She can't stop And she doesn't want to She's going to keep dying her hair She's going to keep bursting out in random laughter She's going to keep blaring her screamo music
She's a dreamer
