The Land of the Desperate SoulsA Poem by R_Denommee394This is basically my version of Hell... Real happy, isn't it?
The Land of the Desperate Souls
Lower your head Look down at your feet You've entered Death's hands Your heart no longer beats You try to cry But you've been sucked into a black hole Into the Land of the Desperate Souls. Empty eyes hungrily search you Boney hands beg you for food Not lemons, nor crackers, nor pizza, nor pie Nobody eats when they die. They want your youth, your spirit, your light That brightens the sky in this forever night You've sinned They win You must pay your tolls And live in the Land of the Desperate Souls Women and children Men and pets Doctors and lawyers Teachers and vets They surround you and swarm you Like angry bees No fire to warm you No one to set you free There is no daytime Only night so cold It's depressing here in the land of the Desperate Souls. So lower your head Look down at your feet You're in Death's hands Your heart will never beat Don't try to cry The black hole has closed You're forever stuck In the Land of the Desperate Souls.
