Hearts that ache in a loud room,
noises silenced by its pounding.
Voices drown out inside this chamber
And the spirits' dying embers.
A painful memory; the past looms with
Shadows of love and promises broken.
Darkened faces that once glowed,
And Glimpses of eternity fade to black.
The breath hollows, the chest seizes,
The ears deafen, and time freezes,
Eyes glaze over, and tears threaten ,
While the heart breaks, the soul fetters.
What hope for those-
those whose maps were burned,
And Tracks of people who cut through bone,
Who's love have stilled ,
and sank like stone.
Hearts that ache in a moving world,
Just may stop, and die alone.
