A goodbye

Beautiful Butterfly filled with love,

Sent to me from Heaven above,

Taught me many wonderful things,

Now its time to spread your wings.

Beautiful Butterfly colourful and bright,

Illuminating creatures of the night,

And now that you have shed your cocoon, 

Spread your wings and fly to the moon!

Beautiful Butterfly warm and kind,

Forever floating through the clouds of my mind. 

So fly Butterfly and wherever you may roam

Maybe one day, you'll fly your way home.
