Watching This World

Watching This World

A Poem by Rosi S. Phillips

I am watching my children splitting apart

Taking up sides with weapons in hand, conquering

I saw my daughter drink the blood of her brother

They have left me and abandoned their humanity becoming...

That is what I do not know

What are my children becoming...

Or what have they become
