She looked up at the unearthly beast that had attacked her, vanishing behind trees. Above her head she could see the dense mist descending from the thick canopy above her, and then she saw the moon.
It was anguish, her blood seemed to be burning inside of her, her own bones were piercing into her flesh like thorns. She opened her mouth to scream but nothing came out more than a moan of agony. Her heart was thumping against her chest as if trying to force its way out. She crumpled; the veins in her neck and arms were swollen, and her body growing larger and larger with every single pulse.
Everything blurred out as her pupils dilated and blood flushed into her eyes, her panting started to turn into growls. And with one big thump of her heart her whole body sprang up on all four and now her breathing was starting to calm down; and she smelled it, something sweet, and desirable, like a drug. So she turned around and saw her own blood splattered on the trunk of the tree behind her, and suddenly her throat started to burn as well, craving for that blood. She looked around and everything was a violent shade of red, she looked down at her hands, but only there were no hands, giant claws were emerging from her paws, gripping the ground tightly beneath her. This sight was too much so she closed her eyes in order to feel her surroundings, the cold wet earth beneath her paws; the cool mist carrying that heavenly scent of blood. She could hear the distant thumps of the paws of the werewolf that turned her. And she opened her eyes again, and looked up at the blood-red moon, and howled in greeting to this new life
