This is how I feel sometimes. And it sucks :(

Living and breathing in regret
Thinking of what seems so far-fetched
For this silence, it's cut me deep
May I lay in bed and cry myself to sleep

My yelling and screaming, the louder I shout
This sorrow and hurt I try to block out
The painful truth and the deceiving lies
Makes me want to crawl up and die

A very moving piece on regret and anguish. I picture the second stanza being "screamed" in the harsh light of a bedside clock blinking 3:30 AM.
