Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by Ryan MacNeil

In all its lunar glory,
It had nothing on us.
The moon hung high
But we were higher
So
So
High
The gravity of the situation
Kept me down
Way
Down
Where the light struggles
To find you
And hand over
A little comfort
Curse the moon
And its ominous rays
Curse the long lonely nights
And skull rattling solitude
That stirs the crazy from within
Bubbling up like
Underwater flatulence
